Browser objects are used to display web pages and other documents, either online or on your hard drive.
The Portfolios, Assets, Quotes and Web views all let you create any number of Browser objects (within memory and other system resource bounds) by either

clicking
the "glasses" button  in the
view's toolbar (this will get you a copy of the current default Browser); or |

clicking
the Gallery button  in the view's toolbar to pick a
template from the gallery's browser section. |
There is also a stripped-down Browser object (with some controls removed) in the Downloads view.
