date date(integer year, integer month, integer day)
Returns the date (a single float interpreted as a calendar date, sometimes also referred to as a "serial number") specified by year, month and day.
The year must be in the range [1, 9999]. The month must be in the range [1, 12] (1 is January, 12 is December). The day must be >= 1, <= the number of days in the month.
Example
January 1, 1991 is
=date(1991, 1, 1)
which, if interpreted as a plain float, equals 33239.
